DESIGN TECHNOLOGY
Maker Lab (1st-2nd Grade) | Mondays, 4:30-5:30pm In the spirit of the Maker movement, this class is an opportunity for students to make, break, and remake projects of their own devising. Through explorations of different tools, students will follow their interests to both create unique projects and figure out how stuff works. Register
Game Lab (K-4th Grade) | Wednesdays, 3:30-4:30pm In this class, students will play games, make games and play the games they make. Through an exploration of physical games (cards, board games, dice games, etc.), digital games (online, user generated, video games) and a combination of the two, students will have a chance to stretch their creativity, technology skills, and problem solving skills to the max. By engaging in a process of writing, drawing, storytelling and rule making, these game designers will discover and share new worlds for others to experience. Register

Lessons include interactive moments, physical movements (chessercizes), and guidelines for game play at each level of development. Chess At Three utilizes a unique cast of characters, in fun and interactive stories. Through these stories children progressively learn to play and develop a love for chess. Our stories focus on why chess pieces move in their own unique ways and are supported by activities that cement chess knowledge in your child's mind. Register
