Goals based on curriculum design and standards are the same for all students, but the plan for each student varies according to individual talents and needs.
Content, instructional technology, and pace of learning are tailored to the abilities and interests of each learner. Learning is viewed as a continuous journey in which teachers identify students’ needs and use a variety of assessment data to inform their teaching.
Collaborate and Plan
Teachers and and Parents will meet to discuss the perceived needs of the child and make a plan.
Observe and Adjust
Teachers and parents will monitor student progress and evaluate how the plan is working.
Teachers and parents will review student progress towards goals, and make any more adjustments that are needed.
