Year-Round Rolling Admissions

Pine Street School welcomes families who find our program and philosophy an exceptional fit for their children. We make every effort to support you in making this important decision.

To help you plan for the coming school year, we provide you with an admissions decision shortly after all requirements for your child's grade level are complete. This means that if you complete requirements early in the admissions season, you can receive our admissions decision then, and have an opportunity to join our community in advance, enjoying social opportunities and forming friendships that nurture a seamless and fulfilling passage into your child’s first year as a member of our student body!

As an international school in NYC’s most vibrant global neighborhoods, we are often the destination for families relocating to New York from other international cities. We are here to support admission for those families year-round and have comprehensive relocation resources to provide as needed.

Applying to Both Sister Schools

We invite you to consider both of our schools if your child is entering a 2s or Preschool Program. You can find more information about our sister school, Battery Park Montessori, here. The application requirements are unique to each school, so please take time to review those requirements carefully. You must apply to each school separately. Once requirements are completed for a school, you will receive an admissions decision for that school shortly afterwards. If your child is admitted, you will have two weeks (14 calendar days) to accept the invitation to enroll in that school. If we do not receive your acceptance in that timeframe, we will offer that spot to another family. If you receive admission to one of our schools but wish to wait for the decision from the sister school, you may do so, but please bear in mind the two-week decision timeframe does not change. If you do have a preference of one sister school over the other, kindly let us know before both applications are considered.
