Athletics & PE

At Pine Street School, athletics are an essential part of our whole-child approach to education. Through a diverse and inclusive physical education program, we empower students to develop lifelong habits of wellness, resilience, and teamwork.

Our athletics program offers a thoughtful balance of individual skill-building and team sports, fostering physical development, sportsmanship, and confidence. Students engage in age-appropriate activities that challenge them to grow, both on and off the field, while learning to collaborate, compete with integrity, and respect others.

From movement-based games in early childhood to competitive team sports in the upper grades, Pine Street students discover the joy of being active, setting goals, and pushing their limits in a supportive environment. Our downtown Manhattan location also allows us to partner with local athletic facilities, expanding our students’ access to a wide range of sports and fitness opportunities.
