On October 22-24, we will feature the unique and powerful vision of our new Middle School Director, Robert Smith with an Ed Talk, info sessions and a special tour personally guided by Smith himself.

Joins us for one or more of these events to meet the brilliant minds behind this new kind of Middle School. You will have an opportunity to meet the Director and faculty, the school's Founder and the Admissions Team.

Students in 3rd Grade and higher are also welcome.

IB leader, head of school

For as long as he can remember, Bob Smith has always had a passion for teaching and learning. After earning his degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and receiving his California teaching credential, he taught and lead in elementary, middle and high schools for over 30 years.

He has worked in both public and private schools, in both suburban and urban areas. Recently, he is the Head of Middle Years and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator for grades 6-10, at Woodstock School located in the Himalayas of India.

He's thrilled to be joining the Pine Street School team!

Pine Street Middle School is a Spanish immersion school. We nurture fluency in and a deep appreciation for the Spanish language. Each year, in June, our Middle School students travel to a Spanish-speaking country for two weeks.
