Yibei Li

Mandarin Teacher

Yibei Li is a dedicated Montessori educator, she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Art Education at City College of New York. She holds an AMS Early Childhood Montessori certification and brings over a decade of experience in early childhood education across China and the United States.

Yibei integrates hands-on, multisensory learning with a deep respect for each child’s unique path of growth. As an immersion teacher, she brings language and culture to life through art, storytelling, and celebrations that build meaningful connections. She also serves in a new role with the Museum of Modern Art’s Family Programs, where she supports young learners and their caregivers in joyful art-making experiences.

A passionate advocate for creative learning, Yibei loves drawing, baking, science experiments, and exploring nature. Her favorite animal is the whale, a symbol of depth, play, and gentle strength-qualities she also brings into her teaching.
